Press Here by Hervé Tullet

This cover is just begging for interaction!

It is such a simple concept for a book, but hey, if a simple concept does the job, no reason to complicate things unnecessarily.

With tech allowing children to do this kind of thing day in and day out, you wouldn't think this would be such a fun book for kids. But it IS.

Each page you are asked to do something and then flip the page to see what happened.

There are enough pages for every student in a class to have a go pressing the dots. Which is important. Because you can't have just a few kids getting to do it--that would lead to deeper injustices in an unjust world.

Some shaking pages...

Then there are some blowing....

...and clapping pages that everyone can do together.

As long as you are cool with having 20+ 5 year olds blowing all their germs right in your face. I learned the hard way to hold this book out at arms length for these pages.

And at the end, you are invited to do it all over again.

And every child I have read it to has wanted to do it all over again. Multiple times.

So fun!
